Each year we get together with two of our favorite couples for an RV camping trip. Last year it was a week on the Oregon coast and a week at a beautiful lake in southern Oregon.
This year, we're spending a few days at an ocean-front campground near Westport, CA, north of Ft. Bragg. Leaving there, we'll travel to Trinidad, CA, north of Eureka for another few days. We'll be staying in a private campground just around the corner from Patrick's Point State Park.
From there, we'll say goodbye to our friends and head to Redmond, Oregon, where we'll be attending an International Rally of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA). We've never attended one of their rallies, but are told to expect 3,000 to 5,000 attendees, and hundreds of motorhome and accessories dealers who will attempt to convince us that we need things we didn't even know existed.
Once the Rally is over, it'll be back home for a while.
